#38 Clear Edge Tape

Our clear edge tape will provide a layer of protection to your paddle while retaining your paddle's stock appearance, but with a bit of sheen on the edge guard. It is made from a thermoplastic polyurethane making it a more flexible and stretchy tape to apply.

Banzai Pickleball Edge Tape provides the ultimate balance of durable protection and light weight with a premium finish that adds style to your pickleball paddle.  Average weight is 3.5-4 grams for a full 31" length. 

Installation:

Our Ultimate Edge Tape installs completely form-fitted to your paddle without any unsightly notches for a factory looking finish.   Heat activated adhesive works with a hair dryer or heat gun.  A low setting on a heat gun should be used to avoid excessive heat.  When it is time to change your tape, it comes off clean without leaving any adhesive residue, saving you the cleanup hassle that most tape products leave behind. 

Note: Clear edge tape requires a little extra care when applying it to avoid visible air bubbles.  Clear edge tape lacks the air release channels in the adhesive layer that is found on all of our colored edge tape.  These help prevent air bubbles from forming under the edge tape.   If this is a concern, choose a colored tape option for the easiest installation.

Sizes: Our tape comes in two sizes to match your paddle's thickness for a clean wrap around finish.

Large - Fits most 16mm and thicker paddles with an edge guard

Small - Fits most 13-14mm paddles and 16mm edgeless paddles.
